Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, dual-language social worker. She has over 13 years' experience with non-profit organizations. She has worked in a variety of settings, including working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people suffering from addiction issues as well as survivors of sexual assault as well as partners who were abused. In 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. The current telehealth services for mental health are available. Dr. Rivas works with women pregnant and post-partum, as part of the Perinatal Behavioral Team. She specializes in trauma informed treatment and offers EMDR to adults. She provides group and individual counseling, as well as a Medication-Assisted Treatment Program, referrals to special care facilities, as well as a Women's Support Group. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society. She helps homeless pets find homes.
